The house had a really nice lay out, we love the location
by ShannonWe loved the area and the house was nice, a fantastic kitchen and living area that open to a pool with a beautiful view. Our only complaint is that the third king room had a really bad mold or sewage smell and we chose not to use it, this left one couple in a double bed. We loved that we could pay $200 for access to the beach club.

Amazing Villa!
by Barry H.This was our second villa we’ve rented in the last three years. Casa Mar y Estrella is a beautiful home away from home. This Villa is very spacious living with amazing views from the beautiful roof top terrace with a fire pit. We enjoyed magnificent sunrises, sunsets, stargazing and ocean views from the upstairs terrace and the infinity pool. Caroline, the property manager, was very helpful with providing an excellent chef “Lucy”, for a couple of evening. We felt very safe in the gated community. The beach was so nice and not crowded. I can’t say enough about what a great house this is for the price! We all had a great time!

by Marty V.THIS WAS A GREAT PLACE TO STAY. ALL THE AMENITIES YOU COULD ASK FOR AND VERY PRIVATE. A FIRST CLASS HOME WHERE THE OWNER CUT NO CORNERS AND SPARED NO COSTS. IT IS VERY LARGE AND ACCOMODATES A LARGE NUMBER OF PEOPLE. IT SITS UP ON A HILL WITH GORGEOUS OCEAN VIEWS. THIS PLACE WILL SPOIL YOU.

Wonderful home!
by Katie C.Casa Mar y Estrella is a beautiful property. Very spacious living spaces and amazing views from the beautiful roof top terrace with a fire pit. Sunrise, sunset, stargazing – 360 degree panorama of the whole area. Lovely pool with ocean views. Large outdoor space with plenty of comfortable seating options. If you need no more than 3 bedrooms this should be your first choice in Puerto los Cabos! Fourth bedroom doesn’t live up to the standards of the other bedrooms and has a strong musty odor. You can only access this bedroom from outside of the main house. Puerto los Cabos is a beautiful area and now that the Marriott is open you can dine at their restaurants. The Puerto los Cabos beach club is very nice and their restaurant will deliver breakfast and lunch to your house. There is also a large workout room. The Hotel El Ganzo beach club in the nearby marina offers a swimming beach with services and food. Really lovely. Having The Container restaurant and the Dolphin Experience in the marina area and the town of San Jose so close, add to the allure of the Puerto los Cabos area. In the past we have stayed at homes in Cabo del Sol and Punta Bellena and this location is the best!

by Kris C.I would recommend this home to anyone looking for a high end, luxurious stay in a spacious home that has it all. The home is as beautiful as it appears in the photos, is very clean and is full of all of the amenities that you would expect in a home like this and many more that you would not have even have thought to ask for. The location has beautiful views, the home is gorgeous and even the security staff greeting you as you enter the neighborhood was delightful. We encountered one issue during our stay and between the management company and our host, it got sorted out within hours. We were very appreciative of the level of service we received!

A Family Get Away
by AnonymousThree generations of our family had the pleasure of staying here in Jan 2012. It is a beutiful home with great attention to detail in the design and decorating. It is in a very quiet and secure area but still close to the unique "old Mexico" town of San Jose del Cabo. Each evening we all enjoyed the rooftop firepit for cocktails and sunsets. Each day we enjoyed the heated pool and jacuzzi with views of the ocean. The nearby beach was very clean and almost deserted. The spring break atmosphere of Cabos is missing here--thank heavens. But if that is what you desire Cabo is a short drive away. The descriptions and pictures are accurate but the home is even prettier than the pictures. All was very clean and very well maintained. I would highly recommend this property for familys or just adult groups. The concierge was most helpful with rental cars, restaurants, cooks, directions, etc.

Perfection in Puerto Los Cabos!
by John K.We had a such a great vacation at Casa Mar y Estrella! The views!!!! The photos don't do it justice. It is obvious that the owners care about their guests and want them to enjoy their stay. And their property manager, Caroline, was very helpful with rental car, groceries, etc. The decor is high class but still very cozy with nice Mexican accents and art. The bedrooms are all like master suites with large bathrooms. Massive sliding doors are everywhere!! We spent a lot of time outside on the huge patio - lounging, swimming, cocktails and meals! This house is so well stocked with everything you could need, especially the gourmet kitchen. We were amazed! We felt very safe in the gated community. The beach was so nice and not crowded. I can’t say enough about what a great house this is for the price! We are trying to pick a date for a return visit -- soon!

Puerto Los Cabos - Casa Mar y Estrella

Having been to Mexico many times, I had no idea the luxurious spa-like accommodations I would have the pleasure to enjoy. To the beautiful scenery, fabulous pool, gourmet kitchen, entertainment atmosphere, comfortable beds, attention to detail, authentic decor and not to mention equipped with every amenity imaginable- this was by far the BEST lodging choice while in Mexico. Not only is the house AMAZING - you're right where you need to be. Casa Mar y Estrella is conveniently located near downtown San Jose for spectacular restaurants and just a short drive into downtown Cabo San Lucas. Private with the ability to venture out into the towns. You couldn't pick a better place to stay. Easy. Beautiful. Accessible. Luxurious. Comfortable. Homey. Enjoy!

January in San Jose
by Tom K.Casa Mar y Estrella was a great experience. The home is gorgeous, the setting is off the charts. Staying in san Jose rather than Cabo San Lucas was nice. San Jose has all you need and in such a nice laid back atmosphere. Access to the owners Beach Club is a real plus. It is well run, well staffed and is a great amenity. Of course, the golf course is a nice touch as well. You won't be disappointed at Casa Mar y Estrella!

Fabulous Vacation Home. Paradise Destination with all accommodations
by AnonymousI stayed at this home. It is spectacular with all amenities. It is private yet nestled withhin an old city of San Jose. It is spectacular to be in a vacation home so close to San Jose but still within the privacy Puerto Los Cabos. The home has an excellent pool where you can see the ocean and watch the whales yet still be close enough to the outdoor kitchen area for a cocktail. I would recommend this home for any purpose you seek. I will return again soon.

by Todd C.You can't go wrong staying here! I've been going to the Cabo area for over 25 years and have stayed all over. This is definitely one of my all-time favorites. The house is very clean and the lay out gives each room its own privacy. The peacefulness and views are unreal! The property manager Caroline was there for any needs and has a great personality. Five Stars all the way!

Fantastic vacation retreat
by Gary F.Already familiar with the neighborhood, as we are property owners we chose Casa Mar y Estrella because this is the nicest property for rent with the Puerto Los Cabos development! The home has everything you will need for a couple, family or a group of friends.The serenity of the development coupled with the awesome golf course and marina make for a world class experience. The owner is extremely pleasant and cooperative and made us feel like we were his personal guests. We will return in the future and highly recommend the home.
