Rasina is at the end of a mountain road with sixteen hairpin turns. Pass through the entrance gates to discover leisurely days filled with excellent food, lounging by the pool and relaxing afternoons on the terrazza. Once you have honed the fine art of doing nothing, a few minutes down the hill are adventures to wonderful sites, towns and restaurants. The villa is centrally located between Assisi, Orvieto, Spoleto, Perugia, Florence, San Gemignani, Siena, and Cortona - to name a few. It is the perfect place to learn the illustrious medieval history of Umbria or to engross yourself in a week of art, cooking, and exploring the villages of Tuscany. Up to 23 guests can enjoy this masterpiece. The Monastery has 11 bedrooms which sleep up to 19 guests. Outside the Monastery are two cabins that sleep 2 guests each making this a perfect place for a family reunion or special event. Published rates include up to 14 guests, additional guests cost $100/night/person. The old Chapel currently serves as a cozy lounge with a wood-burning fireplace plus an antique dining table that fits your entire family! Surprisingly, you have your own magnificent hand-crafted bar off the kitchen. The comfy TV room and spacious terrace overlook the immaculate grounds, olive groves and stunning countryside. We have partnered with “Love Umbria” a unique Tour company that arrives with vans to take you to a farmhouse for a cooking class, mushroom hunting, hot air ballooning, hiking, horseback riding and more! Schedule day trips to close-by cities such as Siena, Florence, Assisi, Perugia, Cortona and the ocean! After a long day of exploring, grab a drink from the bar at Rasina, relax by the luminous pool and enjoy sunsets that cast a glow over the rolling hills of Umbria. Whether this is your first time in Italy or a returning traveler, Rasina is an experience like no other, it engrosses you in the traditional Umbrian culture in one of the most beautiful countries in the world – Italy. Wood-burning Pizza Night is Available Upon Request! • A special pizza night to learn how to create and bake your own pizza in an authentic outdoor wood-burning stove. • Schedule your Pizza night with the Rasina staff, weekdays only. Prepared meals can be made available for lunch or dinner. • Choose from a list of menu options that incudes starters, main courses and desserts. • The meals will be left in the refrigerator for you and your guest to heat up and enjoy. • Cost for prepared meals: $20 per person. • Drinks and Alcohol not included – bring your favorite beverages. Beautiful location. Beautiful home. Beautiful view. Amazing staff! Davide went above and beyond to make our stay seamless and memorable. The meals were delicious, and pizza night was the perfect way to start our friends and family holiday. Magic Stay in Italy
by Nancy B.A week at Rasina is not to be missed! It is a great value. The service was excellent and the staff couldn't have been more helpful. It is a great base for day trips and visits to wineries. The meals were some of the best we had in Italy. This would be a wonderful place for a family reunion or a group vacation. Breakfast in the sunshine overlooking the valley - Superb!
